Webcomics

True Magic If you like BCK, you will absolutely love this comic. Trust me. I already want to take this comic out to dinner and a movie and stare dreamily into its eyes.

Gun Baby Updated infrequently, but worth the wait. Both the writing and the art are sublime. If you have taste, prove it by reading this comic. By the same people who bring you Gulch.

The B-Movie Comic- A wonderfully wacky movie parody comic written and drawn by Roman Wunderlich. This comic rules. It totally pwns you. Eleventy one one one.

Scary-Go-Round- Modern supernatural fun on campus! Sort of like The X-Files crossed with Friends, only more so.

Fletcher Apts. It may star anthro animals, but like our strip, it'd be the same story and the same humor whether the characters were animals, androids, humans, or talking toasters. Come on... Any comic with a line like, "You know, Bert and Ernie are just puppets. They can't really have a sexual preference," is worth checking out. Give it a read, eh?

Goblins!- D&D from the monsters' point of view. One of the best game-related strips ever, and the author, Tarol, is a damn cool guy to boot. By turns funny and poignant, this is a must-read. Goblins just joined Keenspot, too.

Objects of Amusement
Rock and roll meets... something. And loses its pants. This comic also saw your sister naked.

Partially Clips- The people in your clip-art files lead strange and terrible lives. By Rob Balder.

Crimson Dark Imagine Firefly meets Battlestar Galactica. Yeah--I know. And all in 3D. It is irresistible.

Doctor Insano Imagine trying to get through college when your dad is a mad scientist and your best friend's dad is a superhero. Oh, yeah--With a hot babe, too.

Pinky TA Set in an alternate Earth's pre-WWI era, with a pink-haired protagonist with whom I think our Kit would get along quite well. Oh, yeah--Hot babe, big guns, skimpy outfits, solid writing. Need I say more?

Ask Dr. Eldritch Paranormal investigator turned advice columnist. You know you're curious.

Edge, the Devil Hunter You MUST read this. Period. I'm serious. Read it right now. Frakking blew me away with both the writing and the art, whihc isn't easy to do.

The Jester and His Princess An online manga by our friend Joy Ruan. Joy and I had planned at one time to work on a project together, but that didn't pan out. We're glad to see her with her own manga now!

Jesus and Mo The art is rough, but the humor and social commentary is sharp enough to re-open your stigmata wounds. Jesus and Mohammed (Mohammed is, of course, played by a cartoon stunt double) as roommates.

Dominic Deegan, Oracle for Hire- By Shan's friend Mike, aka Mookie. Dominic Deegan is a sterling example of a story/character-centered strip that is by turns hilarious and dramatic. Sometimes both at the same time.

Two Kinds- A thoughtful webcomic that explores serious issues in the guise of entertaining adventure. It starts out a little rough, but the writing and art improve at an impressive pace and sucks you in. Visit for the cute tiger-girl, but stay for the story.

Sluggy Freelance- The grand-daddy of webcomics. Sluggy has been running daily since 1997 and has ranged from roll-on-the-floor funny to heart-wrenching drama.

Schlock Mercenary- Howard Taylor not only writes an excellent humorous science fiction strip (with attention to the science, by the way), he is also a real stand-up guy.

The Dreamland Chronicles- Excellent CGI fantasy about a young man revisiting the dreamworld of his childhood. Formerly a print comic. The author stays about 300 strips ahead and still posts a new episode daily!

Line Item Vito- Sharp political humor. With eyebrows.

Station V-3- Daily humor with color. In space.

Buddies in Big PlacesThe funny, furry soap opera by Seth Triggs!

Heroes of CRASH- Each day, heroes watch us from the skies and the shadows. Their stories will forever be etched in the annals of history. Unfortunately, these guys aren’t there quite yet.

Cy-Boar- A mutant cyborg boar seeks his place in the world and finds head-splitting action.
